GaitAcademy August Camp

— A Home Ground Week

A different kind of week — from wherever you already are.

Everything included:

Seven days, one practical thing to try each day — the seat and the gaits, the things people always want more time on at a real camp and rarely get enough of.

No lessons, no live meet-ups, no submissions — participate whenever it's most convenient for you, but if something genuinely isn't landing, you're welcome to ask, and I will guide you. Personal guidance is available through the camp week.

Material access through the end of November 2026 — so this isn't just a week that disappears, it's something you can come back to.

For anyone who couldn't quite make summer camp happen

For anyone already riding their Icelandic horse who wanted a summer camp this year — and, for whatever reason, couldn't quite make it happen yet. Or maybe you're just back from a break, and looking for a good, low-pressure way to start preparing for the autumn season ahead.

Maybe it was the timing. Maybe the travel, or the cost. Or maybe you're not travelling yet, and you're simply looking for something good to do with your horse.

The Home Ground Week is a small, practical one-week camp built around the seat and the gaits — walk, tölt, trot, canter, and the seat that connects them all. One simple idea of improvement each day, that you can take with you straight out to your horse. Nothing to prepare, nothing to submit.

"I really liked the concept and the way that it was very methodical and each exercise followed on from the one before. I also liked how you made the course accessible to pretty much everyone, but still useful at any level. I think I could do this course every so often and every time find something that I could improve on from the time before."

— Karen T., July 2026 participant

Price: €125 / 950 D.kr.

The official week runs Monday 10 August through Sunday 16 August — join anytime during that week and follow along day by day. Material stays yours to revisit through the end of November.
