Ride With Direction & Feel
A guided mini course for Icelandic horse riders who want
clarity, confidence, and better communication with their horse.
- Active guided period until: Wednesday 4 February
- Access to content and classroom: End of March

- Identify what actually matters in your training right now.
- Create a clear direction for 2026
2) Rider Feel
- Understand what rider feel really is (and what it isn’t).
- Experience the “Thought Aid,” and test it in your daily riding.

Why this course exists
Online riding education often delivers information —
but real riding progress requires context, prioritisation, and feel.
Without direction, training becomes random.
Without rider feel, even correct knowledge stays theoretical.
This course brings the two together.
What you'll learn in 10 days
3) Bringing it together
- Learn how direction and feel support each other
- Recognise when you are helping your horse, and make small adjustments that create large changes over time.

Hi, I am Bent Rune Skulevold
I’m a qualified riding instructor from Norway, England (British Horse Society), and Sweden (Strömsholm). I’ve coached riders and national teams, judged internationally, and guided instructors and talent teams for decades.
I help riders develop clarity, confidence, and “Rider Feel” so they experience the joy of riding. I’ll be your guide throughout this mini course.
Most riders don’t lack motivation or effort
Often what’s missing is:
- Clarity — seeing exactly what’s happening with your horse
- Structure & direction — knowing what to focus on, and in what order
- Feel — turning knowledge into action in the saddle
If you’ve ever felt like you are:
- doing a lot, but progressing very little
- collecting exercises, clinics, and tips without things really changing
- unsure whether you are actually helping your horse — or just trying harder
…then this mini course is for you
Registration is open!
Each lesson is short, actionable, and designed to fit your riding routine.
